Taylor Swift is gearing up to make her feature directorial debut for Searchlight Pictures from an original script she has penned, with more details on the film coming in the future, according to IndieWire.
Swift was recently announced to appear alongside “Banshees of Inisherin” director Martin McDonagh in the publication’s Directors on Directors series, and had long been very vocal about her aspirations to direct a movie.
Swift directed the 15-minute film “All Too Well” which was an adaptation of her 2012 track that coincided with the re-recorded “Red”, and also directed the “Bejeweled” music video, which was Cinderalla-inspired.
“All Too Well” starred Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien and received a limited theatrical release from Universal Pictures in major cities this year and screened at Tribeca and Toronto in 35mm, which came with live appearances from Swift.
